Sandra was the most wonderful of ladies, understated in many ways, but with an amazing ability to be so right in everything she did. This obviously included her choice in life partner and husband in Nigel. It’s very easy to say she was his rock, but she really was. When I first met her, they were setting up CLD and Sandra worked so hard, to the point that if you called at 6.30 in the morning she would be there… even on a Sunday! They fed off each other and when I last saw her on my birthday this year, we had no idea that just a few short months later, she would have left such a huge whole in everyone who knew her’s life. She was an inspirational lady that I feel honoured to call my friend. Rest in piece Sandra x
