Dedicated to the memory of Sandra Howes-Connolly
Sandra Anne Howes-Connolly left us peacefully on the 6th September 2022, nine weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that quickly spread. A wonderful kind hearted, enthusiastic lady who was compassionate and generous throughout her life always wanting to help others. Passionate about her work and the gym, Sandra had endless energy for both, always had a smile and had a positive effect to the lives of many people.

Thoughts
Sandra and I met in the 80s as neighbours in Shoeburyness, Essex. She was really friendly and we bonded very quickly, being the same age, with the same middle name and our birthday's only a day apart. Sandra was always upbeat, positive and a breath of fresh air. We had some fun times together before she moved from Essex but we kept in touch over the years and never missed birthdays or Christmas. I will treasure the memories and never forget her lovely smile and kind words for everyone. My thoughts are with Nigel and all her family and friends.

I met Sandra only some years ago through work, during my time in Hastings. She was such a positive and curious person, and truly interested in other peoples lifes. Her happy mood helped gloomy days to light up a bit. She was kind, fun and a good friend. Above all, she was a loving partner and friend for Nigel. I will miss her a lot. Though i still cannot believe, that she is not here anymore. I will keep her in my thoughts, and i will still listen occasionally for her good advise.
